Your Mind Has Not Caught Up To Your Heart - Poem by Queen Taz

How is it that i get abused day by day? by your brain.
No arms, No legs to fight me; But everyday i take a blow!
Your mind so strong it makes me feel so low, You love me with your heart, body, and soul; I thought i let you know.

How does something so small? win every fight with me, make me believe i amount to nothing.Has my feelings bamboozled in the air wishing you breathe them in; I'm in a constant fight with your mind, and it seems as if i can't win.

I try to strategies my next move, now at a stand still only because your heart but your mind does not know how i feel. Many say your mind is the strongest thing in your body; Amazed at how whats not seen is killing me.Stabs, wounds, blood, leaking, and you have a way with words-feels as I'm being attacked by swords.

We live by the saying 'sticks, and stones, may break my bones but words will never hurt me'; There all lies because it hurts me.You question how can i give you me truly? when you figured someone had my heart since you knew me.Denying, fighting, running in a never ending forest only to end up right back to the beginning- Your love for me

No matter what your mind tells you, your heart is telling you that you love me; your words are cutting deep like a drill digging a hole-There is where my heart bleeds love. When will you be ready to admit your in love? Maybe when your mind catches up to your heart, body, and soul then come together to make you and i whole.
