Your Rose Poem by Davina Vanessa Rivas

Your Rose

Lights begins to fade
Has we lay under the shade
Looking up at the sky
You gave me a kiss on my cheek
Then I started to blush
And say how happy I was
What I thought was love
Was nothing really but lust
I thought our love was a dove
Flying over the world
I felt our love was heaven
to realize it's just a fantasy
Thinking you were the one for me
What a stupid idea
You hurt me really bad
You threw a knife at my caring heart
And tore it apart
I was your beauitful rose
That grew in your garden
Then another rose came
And i became nothing to you
Nothing but a weed
