In his embrace you hide from the world.
Seeking solace in the heartbeats in his chest.
It gives you hope something to strive for.
Closing your eyes tightly just you can be at one.

His smile made from angels laughter
A soul that made you love.
The feel of his kisses on your forehead
Drew you to his lips.

How your soul needs him words can never say.
Every time your heart explodes
when his fingers touch your cheek
You fall onto him.

But when the day breaks
and the morning comes
he starts to slip away
threw your fingers like silk sheets.

Opening your eyes and your blinded by the light.
I see your shadow walking away. walking away
Running towards it every step going backwards '
until you are million miles away.

Knees smack the ground
and tears rape my soul.
When everything i had got destroyed
I can't pretend anymore, because

Everything I was
Everything I am
Everything I will be
is in that shadow of yours.
