It wasn't long
After you were gone
I seen you in a dream
First dream about you.
Dressed in white
Kneeling in place
It was so real
I thought you were there.
I looked in your eyes
I was going to kiss your cheek
But you was not there
I woke up.
With tears in my eyes
You was gone
It was just a dream.
