Your Sweet Voice Poem by Keli Mims

Today I heard your sweet voice,
For the first time in a long while.
And I'll get to see you soon,
Those beautiful eyes and smile.
When you said your name,
I could no longer breathe.
All I could think is I miss you,
And I prayed you missed me.
You told me about diffrent things,
And hd funny things to say.
And everything came rushing back,
When I heard your sweet voice today.

There were fifteen minutes of silence,
But it wasn't akward it was okay.
All because I knew you were there,
Means so much more than I could say.
You were all I had to miss,
but you had to miss so much more.
But all in all, in the end,
Life will go on as before.
But it helped me through,
even if in the end my smile faded.
When I heard your sweet voice,
I had so much I felt and couldn't say.
