Your Tender Heart (Sonnet #286) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Your Tender Heart (Sonnet #286)

Rating: 5.0

Your love carries me to another world
Where love reigns king in hearts of all lovers,
A hub where hymns in the air are heard
Sung by angels who, as love birds, hover.

And this soft haven is ours to miss,
Like a heavenly island in the sea,
Where deep amid the trees we abide in bliss
Cherishing the love we share in sweet poetry.

And in our world I want to live forever,
Where the sky whispers your name day and night,
A serene, pristine place with brooks and rivers,
Where love prevails, where souls shine bright.

O how blessed to be wherever you are!
Pampered in my kingdom — your tender heart.
