Your Touch Poem by Rue Palmer

Your Touch

In the quiet of the night, I whisper your name, A ghost in the shadows, our heart still the same.Memories dance on the edge of my mind, A love once so vivid, now hard to find.Your laughter lingers, a melody sweet, In dreams, I find solace where our hearts meet.Days turn to months, the years drift away, Yet in my heart, you forever stay.I miss your touch, the warmth of your embrace, The way your smile lit up your face.Though time has passed, my heart still yearns, For the time we lost, the lessons learned. In every sunset, in each star's light, I search for you in the depth of night.Though you are gone, you're never far, A missed friend, my guiding star.
In the quiet of the night, I whisper your name,
A ghost in the shadows, our heart still the same.
Memories dance on the edge of my mind,
A love once so vivid, now hard to find.
Your laughter lingers, a melody sweet,
In dreams, I find solace where our hearts meet.
Days turn to months, the years drift away,
Yet in my heart, you forever stay.
I miss your touch, the warmth of your embrace,
The way your smile lit up your face.
Though time has passed, my heart still yearns,
For the time we lost, the lessons learned.
In every sunset, in each star's light,
I search for you in the depth of night.
Though you are gone, you're never far,
A missed friend, my guiding star.
