Your World Poem by Heather Plunkett

Your World

The best things can happen to the worst people
I look around and see things I wish I could have and realize
I lost lots of things that make me happy
The days that I see you
Really hurt
I see you with other people and your happy,
And it hurts to see you smile and laugh
The look in your eyes makes me cringe
You cant miss someone if they haven’t left
But…
You and I have been through the worst and best times
The way you look at her
Makes me wish that I could see that look in your eyes again
To be the way we used to be
And to be those people that we were
Back when I was your world
