In a village nestled high and true,
Where skies are clear, and waters blue,
An old stone dam began to break,
And fears of floods kept folks awake.
Arjun, young with steady hands,
Took on the task, made his stand,
But soon he saw, as cracks grew wide,
This job was far too tough, too wide.
Priya came with thoughtful care,
'Arjun, you don't have to bear
This weight alone, let's work as one,
Together, more can soon be done.'
He paused, then nodded, letting go,
Of pride he held from long ago.
They gathered friends, both strong and wise,
And under Himachal's clear blue skies—
They built anew, stone by stone,
A dam much stronger than alone.
The Sufi watched with knowing eyes,
'Threads together make the ties.'
Now the dam stands tall and true,
Proof of what teamwork can do.
In hills where rivers gently glide,
The strength of many will always guide.
