Youth Revolution - Poem by Joshua Lake

The persistent fear of manipulation
Has consumed and over whelmed the youth of this nation
Leaders try to fix their own caused problems
Yet we are the ones here to solve it for them
This is the next round
We dont want this no more, no more doubt
Rapping is a way expression, a way to let it all out
We just want our own deserved respect
We’re changing the world and they don’t even know what to expect
Its time to show them who we are
No more trouble we’re raising the bar
Before long we right your wrongs
And start singing our songs
Stepping into the ring
Flying free not thinking
Avoiding the last generation to walk these streets
Raise our voices no need to be discreet
Brain washing everybody who gets in our way
We’ve been waiting for to long it’s our time this is our day
No judgment based on the past
Life gains harmony like the singers in glee cast
Rising up faster then an erupting volcano
Blowing through like a disturbed tornado
The sky turns blue
The heavens start to listen
The sun start to glisten
Tides start turning
The pounding in your chest starts hurting
Water filled eyes start burning
The time of change has come
No one cares where others are from
Life becomes easy
Guns put down freely
Greedy become equal
This is America part 2 the sequel
