Zing Poem by Rich Harney

Zing

Zing! would be the word for March
You're so illustrious now!
Have you come to tease the year
With kisses under boughs?

You're parting lips for April
Are as the bonnet blew
Into the hands of gentlefolk
The wind gave preludes too!

Have you and April slipped away
To some Lark avenue?
Then hand in hand as love brigands
Stole kismet's Isle of blue?

Beware! the blossoming of May -
Could fling you're apple cart,
Dear March, who'll hide you're wishing wind,
And April's wistful heart?
