Do you look at the moon and exchange smiles?
Do you feel someone waving at you from accross the miles?
Do you feel the glowing ship in the sea of blue?
...
In the land of rainbow moons
Where the pretty butterflies blooms
...
I spill food on every lovely white dress
I am the one in the center of every mess
I drop the spoon, drop the glass, drop the book

Writer'sblock
In the hope to find a sprinkle of fame and glory
I opened Google and searched " how to write a story"
Many a blogs i read
‘Be original, be creative' they said
One helpful site, i did find
Steps to write a story it outlined
‘all you have to do to write a successful fiction,
Is to keep in mind, its five essential parts:
Characters, setting, plot, conflict and resolution.
That is all! Now you are ready to start! '
Encouraged by this simple suggestion
I decided my research is all done!
A gripping story, with an interesting beginning
That is what i sat down to write.
I wanted a plot full of twists, with a surprise ending
But here i am struggling with the writer's block with all my might!
My characters are ready
A shy young man, always so broody
A friendly young woman
With deep dark secrets within
Add to that some gossip mongers,
Bored people spreading ugly rumors
And a cranky old manager.
A modern day office is the setting
In a bustling city, stood its tall glass building
A concrete jungle with little green peppering
Just like the thousand others in its immediate surrounding.
Now, like i mentioned before,
Plot should have twists, turns, drama and more
So started with an unexpected tragedy in office, that causes great flutter,
For the time being It seems to bring the scattered strangers together
But the tragedy turns out to b a murder!
And ends up ruffling of a big-shot's feathers!
Colleagues for years turn friends for once
Background stories and a little romance
Lies deceit and suspense follows
What is the motive, no one knows.
And this is where i am stuck
With this troubling writer's block!
But there has to be a conflict of some sort
Perhaps a tough choice to make
Like condemn or abet a person you love.
A difficult decision indeed to take
Then there has to be a resolution to the conflict
Only then will be my story complete!
But unfortunately i am stuck
With this writer's block
Please help me a little, you all creative folk!
