Life

A bud so delicate I were
nurtured in the shower of love
I was free, no worries
but I wanted to grow, grow

Years passed, there I were a flower
burdened under loads unknown
with no hue and fragrance
what went wrong I never knew
why I ever wanted to grow? ?

Then one night
I saw a dream, an angel so clean
came to me, touched me

Oh! you dear flower, wake up to the truth
the loads that are to you are deeds
by the Lord for you to complete
take them all in your stride, then
will you know the true colors of life

I woke up to the truth; I promised what may come my way
I’ll never have bad to say
Life is all that is mine
I’ll live it full and shine
From here on, all will be forever fine!
