Love Was Knocking At My Door

'Love'...

You know...
I used to wonder...
if 'love' would ever arrive at my door...
and why you made my heart beat so.

My heart sprung like a marching band...
beating...knocking...knocking everytime...
everytime you hugged me...
everytime you squeezed me...
everytime you kissed me...
when i remembered your smile...
when i heard your name...
everytime you ran through my mind.

But now i know...
it was only one of the many ways...
my heart tried to tell me...
that love...
'love'...was finally knocking at my door...
and 'your' love...
was like candy-coated rain drops.
