She left the rush of Mumbai's streets,
To walk beside me in Bulandshahr's quiet lanes.
Not because life promised certainty,
But because love whispered her name.

I was taught to chase the crowd,
to collect degrees, titles, and applause.
So I did.

I climbed no mountain carved by kings,
Nor crossed a gate of fire.
I walked instead through silent thoughts,
Where every dream was tried.
