Solitude

I've grown to favor solitude,
No longer does solace visit me.
No longer must I succumb to others
Nor endure the insensitive,
When I'm in solitude.

In lieu, I now theorize
And find my own dimension,
Where succor roams in abundance.
And compassion is found in the wind.

Lament falls from the trees; no longer does it burden one.
Pique is never inflicted, and
We're ravished by rays of the sun.

My cordial home could never be replicated by man.
I stand at the crossroads of two reversed lands.
When I'm in solitude.
