A legacy of dreams
I would leave for thee
A progeny of gleams
I would leave for thee

Never ending pain
Would cease to be
Life of disdain
Would cease to be

All thoughts of thee
All dreams I see
All visions that come
Combine and blend
Poetry to become

I list them all
Big and small
And store them well
One day to tell

When you forbade,
Who came to my aid?
Your thoughts, your dreams,
your visions, that's plain...
It was none but you,
You again!

From this world when I depart
I'd reveal all that's yet in heart
Your thoughts and dreams that are poetry now
To you one day would I impart.
