The Truth Unfolds

The scum in my eyes,
I sliced it, couldn't stand off my plight,
beyond it stood the Emperor of all lies,
with crumbling lips, smiling a slight..

I asked, ''are you friend or by any means, a foe? ''
''Behold..always ready with a bow,
I'm your friend, myself Prince Illusion,
at your service to bind you with trick and dellusion..''

''But mind you, always I am,
a sworn enemy of your real fame,
Since i spread over the web of dreams,
Only dreams though, which never fulfils..''
