In the Desert dust, we walk a winding track,

but never set foot on land.

If by chance you stumble by,
My empty grave, where I should lie.
Take no heed, for I still breathe,
Under a summer sky.
...

back in the yesterday, I was dancing there,
With hands gripped tight and a jet black stare.
At the teary green eyes, and the flowing red hair,
My rage was my curse, and my childhood, my fear.

Australian Bliss

In the Desert dust, we walk a winding track,

but never set foot on land.

It's Cairns or bust, and on our backs,

only our skin, our shirt and a swag.

The Melbourne life, is one to envy,

But there's nothing you can find.

Like the sand and the heat, where you can hear your own feet,

the Australian peace of mind.

You might see a dingo, or just dust on your legs,

As red as the blood in our hearts.

This is the land, where we march to the songs,

And to our own beat of the drum.

The Brisbane life, is one to desire,

But you can never find a life like this.

This is down under, the barren and calm,

This is Australian Bliss.
