Into deep strange seas it thus drifted,
The childhood photo of mine which on my walls hung
Sensing breath from its frame flung!

In the clear oil of sincere repentance,
A glorious lamp shall be lit
That shall shine with luminescence.

Mangoes, mangoes,
Dangling down the tree,
Come and fall off
With the breeze,

I have a pussy-cat
Who likes to mew
Delightful new songs
And old melodies anew
...

It is not darkness alone
That makes a thing to hide
For a thing may also hide
Even in the brilliance of light.

Our eyes behave just like a prism
When it dwells upon the past and thus gazes back
For the intervening time refracts our vision
And lends them rainbow colours both variant and vibrant.
