Randy Akkerhuis Biography

Love of Life, love of reading and writing. My writing career started back in the early 70's as a photo Journalist in the U.S. Military. I was published several times in the base paper and the Local city paper. I won a honorable mention from Asimov mag, sometime in 72. Recently Given the Editors choice award from the international Library of Poets. Not sure what that means there wasn't any money envolved. Nominated Poet of the year from the same place. But then again I have seen no money. Preasently working on a Fiction book and writeing greetings for card companys.)

Softly, Gently, into the Woods
Listen and Look
Rustling Leaves at your feet
Bark covered Giants at your sides
Gently Swaying to and Fro

Roots Sunk so Deep
Limbs Lifted High
