Enough

the worst pain is when you're screaming inside
frustrated; helpless; pleading
for you to shut up shut up shut up
before you screw things up even more

you never listen
ranting and raving and bawling and sobbing
screaming away
insane

you never listen
you never ever listen
both of you
too blind, by anger by pain
what about me
im always caught in the middle
im the glue
trying to piece all the pieces together
while you try to poke through me
to get to the other side

i see the pain in both
its worst when you carry two burdens on your back
you never listen
you dont want to see
you dont understand
because you don't care enough

to you its about you and you alone
you all feel so misunderstood
so victimized
so hurt

what about me.
who do i stand with
what do i stand for
i am torn.

stop pulling me like a rag doll
stop mocking me when i try to put things right
somehow it always turns out the same.

the worst pain
is when you cry at night
silently muffledly
you dont dare to make a sound
to scream soundlessly into the pillow
to feel the tears pouring down your cheeks
to choke to breathe and cry at the same time
your nose is blocked
you cant clear it
too loud
the silence is getting to me
so quiet so fake
its all a pretense

the worst pain is

theres only so much i can take
