Sleepless

i lay awake sleepless..
in a never ending dream..
of fairytales..
wondering if all this is real or fake..
yet i lay there..
not to move or blink..
worried that the sudden movements..
might fade the dreams away into nothingness..
so i sleep eyes wide open..
hope'n that one day our dreams of happily ever endings..
become our reality..
and awake with you next to me..
