Richard Lee Stuver Poems

Walk,
Slowly I take it,
For shadows of uncertainty lurk in my mind.
...

As I walked through my life I saw her.
Such beauty, such compassion, such loveliness in her soul.
The dreams I had dreamed had come to life.
And I saw her.
...

What can be said
When last you see
Someone you think you Love?

Walk To Eternity

Walk,
Slowly I take it,
For shadows of uncertainty lurk in my mind.

Dark,
I sneak my way through it,
To go unnoticed by danger around me.

Wind,
Through me it blows,
And whistles it's chant in the trees.

Cold,
It pierces my flesh,
And lashes like knives at my heart.

Snow,
It covers my mind,
And stirs soft release of my soul.

Death,
It caresses me,
And beckons me on as I follow.

Eternity,
It greets me,
And wishes me sweet rest.
