'Our Dad'

OUR DAD

Can I take up just a minute of your time.
To take you back to when all was fine.
I have wrote this message for our Dad.
To thank him for all the things we had

We always talk about our childhood years.
That make us smile and hold back the tears.
Gone too quickly (1-2-3- secs) Gone for good.
if I could turn back time. Dad you know I would.

To a time when our Dad was always there.
To a time when our Dad gad a life to share.
He was always strong if things went wrong.
We remember these moments even though you're gone.


With D.I.Y. and George our Granddad.
In overalls green was all they had.
With steady strong hands.
They worked hard each day.
'Albert......George, a cup of tea' Mum would say.
Just using their hands and Dad's bright brain.
To build a house and the Family name.

Our Dad told us that hard work does pay.
All he was saying is you reap what you sow.
Meaning tend your crops and your fields will overflow.
Our Dad did teach us how to give.
He also taught us how to live.

Our Dad is now with angels high.
be happy my children I can hear him sigh.
Our Dad left us all too soon.
But your star does always shine above the brightest moon.
He will glide across our golden fields.
We will see him in the crops we yield.

We will see him in the summers rain.
He will ride the winds and call out our names.
Allison, Richard, Debbie and Joanne.
Just remember Dad loves you
I'm your number one fan.
