Who Is God To You?

Who is God to you? Is He your best friend? Is He the one that you share your emotions, joys, ups, and downs with? Is He the first one you talk to in the morning, thanking Him for giving you another day to live?
Who is God to you? Is He your daddy? Maybe even the loving one that you’ve never had. Is He the one that watches over you day and night, never taking His eyes off? Is He the one that looks on you with love? Is He the one that you lean on in times of trials and tribulations? Is He the one that never leaves you nor forsakes you?
Who is God to you? Is He your comforter? Is He the one that wraps His loving arms around you and sings over you day and night? Is He the one that soothes your soul when you are all in a tizzy? Is He the one that constantly reassures you that everything is going to be ok, and that you have nothing to be afraid of?
Who is God to you? Is He your creator? Is it Him that you see when the snow is descending? Do you see Him when you look at yourself? Did He not say that He created you in His own image? Do you ever marvel at His creation when you see all the flowers blooming, with their unique colors being displayed?
Who is God to you? Is He your forgiver? Is He the one that lovingly and gladly forgives you each time you make a mistake? Is He the one that opens His arms to you when you repent again for the 50th time? Is He the one that forgives time after time, never giving you a cold shoulder saying, “You are too late? ”
Who is God to you? Is He your guide? Is He the one that you let direct your steps? Is He the one you give your day, thoughts, and life too?
Who is God to you? Is He your Savior? Is He the one that sent His son to come down from heaven, as a human, to get martyred on a cross for you? Is He the one that had to sit and watch His son suffer because He loved you with a no strings attached love? Does He not have a love for you that is never failing?
So now you ask yourself who is God really to you. Do you have a relationship with the Almighty, Great I Am, King of Kings, Mighty Warrior? If not, maybe you should invite Him in and create a relationship.
