How do I pull out of this? Where sides have no handles, nor even sides.
From which nothing may be grasped, not even air; both sides to be aware.
Both run deep, and keep. Only if I hit this wall may I not be in this heap.
Forgiving not yet dangles the rope. Enticing hope reaching only so far.

Tunnel Vision

How do I pull out of this? Where sides have no handles, nor even sides.
From which nothing may be grasped, not even air; both sides to be aware.
Both run deep, and keep. Only if I hit this wall may I not be in this heap.
Forgiving not yet dangles the rope. Enticing hope reaching only so far.
For I fall in search for growth. My loss for breath, oh how I loath.
Where is my out? Con-caved lungs about.

A tunnel built is a tunnel owned. My tunnel is as dark as shown.
Please my love, pull me out, of my tunnel vision drought!

Smart fool thy ends not near. A bubble of reminiscence, that falsehood fear.
There is no ground right now, that is all that is clear.
In fear I dry. My love for you I cry.
May I soak this tunnel of pain? Shall I fill this tunnel with rain? Will that lift me outside?
Am I mis-shaped, was I not well rounded? A dropped marble, in all, perfectly surrounded.
Yet perfection's unsound, no bound in distribution.
May imperfection square me off; turn this into an illusion.
Needless to say, my needs are unknown. But one stands out, with a rope about.
Feeding me a line of breath, let me shout!

A tunnel built is a tunnel owned. My tunnel is as light as shown.
Please my love, don't put me back in, my tunnel vision sin.

Space I give, space you take; that is your wall with no mistake.
Astounding independence steals my intent. I'm spent, this I cannot fake.
And space is time, minute that it is.
With no walls, no bounds; I can't ground. I'm falling in lonely darkness!
So see my light for thee. To shine unsound, in your heart, let me drown.
For now, alone it grows timid to be found.

My tunnel built, owned by your love. My tunnel light is shown above.
So please my heart, save me now, by joining my tunnel vision; that's how!
