A Lone Figure

In the dark and lonely room
A figure gaze to the pale moon
Lost in their muse
A ticking fuse
Thoughts burn bright as fire
Making none the liar
Remembering where it all began
The pendant with color of a dark cyan
A reminder of before
Only to be ignored
For memories flood
Of when it became something
Out of the fire of nothing
The figure thought it would never become
From fading light to a dim yet burning light
And ever so right
The lone figure's mind resilient yet fickle
With none to belittle
As it sits quietly gazing at the pale moonlight
