Friends

Its not in my bones
I will not go it alone
Its not a fad or trend
All I want is a friend

When I get caught being naughty
What the teacher has not taught me
It is something I can mend
All I want is a friend

On a play ground with that bully
Or a sea-saw, swing, or pulley
To play swing or pretend
All I want is a friend

In the evenings that pass by
On the weekends long and dry
all the moments that I spend
All I want is a friend
