Oblivions Dream

Oblivions Dam

can't hold back
Mother Natures
Rush

emerging
from within
the eye of a twister

praying cobra's hands
dance and rise
to the rhythm's
of a snake charmers
trance
as sand dunes are created
from whispering winds

where strode
an intersection
on freeway
you play

underneath a street lamp
a game of hide-and-seek
"olly-olly oxen free"

and the lamp becomes God
and freedom
a ladder from the hells of fire.
