Roslyn Hens Poems

I've long been under the false impression that I suffer from clinical depression. But I now understand that I am not depressed, rather just sad. Every living soul acquires a personality and an overriding emotion on which they return to in the state of neutrality. Mine happens to be one of a melancholy sorrow. I would hesitate to describe myself as happy, but I feel a placid serenity when alone with my thoughts - and that for me, is the closest I will come to utter content.
