I started writing poetry form a young age mainly from when I was at school reading and researching the poets William Blake, William Wordsworth John Keats Percy Shelley, Lord Byron, Samuel Taylor Coleridge all of which have inspired my writing in one or another.

On our street's we see them day by day
Knights of the road hanging on to zero
We watch, stare but don't really care
For the life of the downtrodden hero

They live in life's shadow
On the other side of paradise
To survive they beg or borrow
But are always penniless

Cold doorways or cardboard boxes are their home
Onwards to nowhere finds only strife
The penniless prince is forced to roam
Where abuse and mockery is a way of life
