Rozella D. Ashbaucher Poems

If I should lose the whole wide world
And still have thoughts of you,
I'd think myself the richest girl
Tho' poor, it might be true.
...

I'm floating back to Dreamland
Cause I know that you'll be there,
With violets on your shoulder
And roses in your hair.
...

Do you do a good turn daily,
Lend a helping hand in need,
To some friend by sorrow broken,
Or a stranger on the street?

If I Should Lose The Whole Wide World

If I should lose the whole wide world
And still have thoughts of you,
I'd think myself the richest girl
Tho' poor, it might be true.

I would not mind the poverty
For love, they say, is blind,
And I would find my wealth;
you see,
Of quite a different kind,

If I should lose the whole wide world,
Yet know you loved me true,
I'd feel that I had found my wealth,
The day that I met you.
