I'Ve Never Told You

I've never told you
if you haven’t been around me,
my heart would stop beating.
My heart would turn into
a rusty silent bell
hanging on a God's forgotten belfry.

I've never told you
if you disappear from my Life,
Time would be just sand
running out between my fingers
(as a pointless expectation) .

I've never told you
your presence
gives me a reason to survive.
I see my youth in your eyes,
my better Me.
I never said I love you.
