Rupika Alekhya Poems

'Knock knock' the tapping came at my heart door,
constant and loud,
until I rushed to see who it was.
It was my friend who was warmly welcomed
...

What's done is done.
Yesterday doesn't return.
Tomorrow doesn't happen.
Life is for once and
...

Wake up..
Oh! Wake up
To see the sun shine.
Wake up,
...

4.

Suddenly everything seems clear.
Ports of golden past towards 'present' are gliding
Aft yonks charm is showering its drizzle;
Though stink of foul weather has not yet subdued.
...

As lonely as I am,
As broken as I am,
No one else can be.
Still I am much happy
...

I prithee Lord,
Protect us
From the clasp of wild
Who lives amidst our race,
...

Words fail me.
Oh!
It's the beauty of life.
Everyday I live, the same old life,
...

8.

Love is abstract.
Love is hew.
Love is undescribable,
It is true.
...

When times hit hard
When people do not appreciate
When tides strike above head,
When pace seems slow
...

10.

Swords of time are ticking
Closer to destiny every minute.

Head straight and go for no shortcuts
...

Is there someone I can call mine?

Is that you standing in the night,
Far far away?

The Best Poem Of Rupika Alekhya

I Don'T Know

'Knock knock' the tapping came at my heart door,
constant and loud,
until I rushed to see who it was.
It was my friend who was warmly welcomed
with rapture and smile.

'What do you want' I asked.
'you' came the reply.
Amazed I asked why.
She said 'your friendship I need'.
'My pleasure' I curtsied.

In joyous success days passed
Budding hopes.
Bed of roses it was in it's early tide.
Until 'EXPECTATIONS' soared his wings
On friendship which was unblemished and nice.

It started with tiffs and upsets.
Quickly to anger and doubts
At things which earlier were allowed.
Uncomfortableness crept it's arms,
into which 'EXPECTATIONS' has led.

The cute and new friendship
In it's morning glory,
Depressed, was rummaging
for answers of circumstances
That compelled the sweet tongue spell contradictions.

'You are a sweetheart,
I know you would understand' she said in our recent past.
'Now why did I think you'd understand' said the same girl, today.
It pierced my cerise heart
With anger and pain.

Why does the heart forget
that once 'EXPECTATIONS' set foot,
It will be broken again,
Anon.
'EXPECTATIONS' is the root of sorrow and pain.

It's not like she loves me no more.
It's just that human nature cannot be defied.
Dedication and time it shall expect,
once close to heart they come
But this isn't the first time then why does the heart not realise that 'history repeats itself'.

Most lovely, most great, most real, most brave, most true.
