The Eagle

I bring nothing but doom for the creatures that crawl,
They attempt to hide, but to no avail they flee
My good eyesight with their fleeing will brawl,
But as I swoop down upon them, I pity their sons to be.

My wings are a symbol of speed and grace
And when a snake falls upon my sights;
Being a snake-eater, I look upon him in taste.
But as I try to kill him, he seldom fights!

I am just a hunter, who soars up in the sky,
At heights where only Eagles dare to fly.
And when I see a rat or a mouse,
I cut them with my claws; till they can even bare!

I am a great bird, with talons sharp as blades,
With powers of courage, bravery and daring.
My feathers are like silk and are shades of brown;
They look as if they're 'sparkling' in the golden sun!

Although I am so active, I sometimes see
Woodland shoes as a great place to be!
Thinking he's stupid is what you may be;
But twas' just a joke which I made up in a tree!
