Open Up To Eden

I sit at this pond

Wondering why people aren't fond

Of such simple beauty so true

Instead choose to be blue?



Sounds of bumblebees humming

The wood peckers drumming;

With a slight breeze

Moving at ease;

The ripples are flowing

The pond looking as if it were growing.



It all makes minds expand

Not being oh so bland;

Still we choose to destroy this

Keeping us from simple bliss;

But instead choose to be stewards of land

And give it a helping hand.



This garden of eden was a giving

So we could be living

On this earth that is heaven

And created in just seven;

So let us save our planet so near to death

Before it takes its final breath.
