Soliloquy (A Sonnet)
Sometimes when I sit alone and aim high
I hear my inner soul remorsefully sigh;
For, gone are the days when I could
But indolence had taken away the spirit of my mood.
Though many persons today call me an achiever
But I know I was not serious in my endeavour;
A sense of dissatisfaction tortures heart's deepest core
When I think I could have achieved much more.
So tears rush and fall in this solitary night
And finally I promise myself a future so bright;
Where there is no regrets and nothing to moan
And the ray of hope compels awful nights to melt into dawn.
So I speak to myself and keep looking for some inspiration
While silently it blesses me with courage to reach my destination.
