Stolen Children, Broken Mothers

When a woman finds herself with child,
A slew of emotions run through her soul,
Sadness, fear, happiness, hopes, dreams, excitement, depression…

The sadness is for they feel that now their life is forever now chained to the life the one inside.
The fear is for many things,
Money to care for the child,
A father to help love the child,
Miscarriage, still birth, death from child birth,
Fears of the world that she is bringing her child into,
How will they find their way in life?
How will she know what to teach the child?
Who will support her and decisions?
Yes, fear is a big part of her thoughts…

But then,
The overwhelming feeling of happiness!
Hopes of love and dreams of painting a colorful world of love and peace,
And the excitement of starting a new life with the one person that will love you unconditionally,
The angel sent from above to save her from losing hope in herself and God.
Her heart and soul begins to soar…

And then the happiness mixes depression,
And her heart feels all of the pain in the world,
Songs bring tears to her eyes,
And cruel words shake the very earth she stands on.

Her one true propose now,
Is to protect her unborn child,
From the poisons of hate of the world.

But what if the vile liquid,
The steam of evil,
Enters the mothers weakening barrier,
And steals the child from her loving grasp?
What is left of the mother?
Nothing,
But an empty shell…
