Life And Death

The first kiss of life touches my tender lips,
A glistening tear adorns my eye.
Captivated by the evil decree of defeat,
Leaves of victory sway across the bridge of oblivion.
How can I rise above this pulpit of stagnating silence?
Shrieks of agony coagulate my mind.
Heart veiled by sorrow,
My voice is a forbidden roar of torture.
I can breathe no more…………………………
The caress of death smothers my being
All directions lost, emptiness encompasses me
My fondest dreams shatter into pieces,
fragments of remorse are strewn on my hollow soul.
A prayer echoes ceaselessly across the wilderness,
As on my desolate tombstone lies eternal blossoms…
