The Bliss In Solitude

I was going to the unknown land,
incognizant of the road I had taken,
treading and leaving my vestige on sand,
approaching to the land foresaken.

No one to hold my hand, no memories to cherish,
Bygone and present swooped in solitude, Mirages spurned down what I beseech,
Had a hunch of plunging from high altitude.

Then the road took me to the ices,
the land exempted from all the vices,
everything so impeccable and immaculate,
Still no one beside me to descry such picturesque portrait.

The nippy wind left me petrified,
I became static for I was stupefied,
the chill froze one of my every vein,
I foraged for warmth but all assay in vain,
I trembled and quivered in the White Land,
I pleaded 'Oh God! do I deserve where I stand'.

'Do you hear me? ' I Cried in pain,
I comprehended that my urges were not to sustain,
The stack of pain was too hefty to encumber.
My eyelids shut and I went to slumber,

I slept for infinity & then I opened my eyes,
I found myself amidst the sea & below the blue skies,
I sailed across the sea in search of a company,
But all I could hear was a marine symphony.

I descried the incessant horizon,
At dawn even saw the refulgent Sun,
Time passed by, had no notion what's gonna be,
Sun turned livid and lunged into the sea,
Sailing below the scarlet Sun at twilight,
Every hope turned away from my sight,

The night grew dark and frantic,
I was lost and feeling nostalgic,
Zillion stars were my blanket,
The Moon appeared from the casket,
I imagined if I was among these stars,
No one in my life would have been far,
Wondering these desires I went into a dream,
I was carried away by the marine stream.

I opened my eyes to see green pasture,
The emerald fields had a beautiful lusture,
The hues and colours of flowers,
The fresh water falling from showers,
Birds chirping in sweet melody,
The land was bereft of all the felony.

Then I glanced at the captivating Iris,
An Angel descended in an eternal bliss,
She came to me and whispered 'You are not alone',
As she said this & gave me a Moonstone,
She held my hand and spared me from moan,
I never felt rejuvenated like this before,
Neither at the land nor at the sea shore,
Her eyes so fathomless and serene,
Her smile perfect like any sunset ever seen,
She talked about her dreams and passion,
But she never had that kind of compassion,
She craved to achieve something different,
But it was the difference that she was incognizant,
She was so perfect still had these worries,
The pacific face filled with queries,
I thought my experience could of her help,
For I have been in situations more delph,
I told her how to consummate her dreams,
She smiled and said 'I will try my best' and made a scream,
She was exalted and in blithe never before,
She jumped across the lawns and splashed in the brook,
I was delighted with the road she took,
She came to me & gave a caressing smile,
She flanged her skirt & blushed for a while,
With dewy eyes she asked 'Shall we dance? ',
What can I say dear for I was in trance,
Every step we took was a perfect moment,
Our eyes met for the entire sonnet.

Suddenly she took her hands off me,
Her lips shrinked as she had to leave,
My heart sinked into the abyss,
She never knew how much the moments I will miss,
I couldn't ask but had interrogating eyes,
'Why are you leaving me dear? ' as my soul dies,
She was oblivious of my feelings & took a step back,
Dear can I know if there is anything I lack,
She ceased for a moment and felt the vibe,
My heart slugged at this pivot of my life,
She held my hand firmly and said she will come back,
She gave me a flower and said 'Wait for me until this flower dries',
This is the flower where my heart lies,
She ran away into the woods and disappeaered,
This was the situation I always feared,
I stood still with the flower in my hands,
I prayed to God to grant her whatever she wants,
Fulfill all her desires & bestow her compassion,
Let her always be in elysium at every location.

I waited as long as I can in her memories,
She never returned despite of my worries,
But I am not alone because I have this flower,
I am still waiting for her with dried petals,
Is this the dream I am dreaming or reality? ,
If it is then I always wanna live in this virtuality.
