Old Ironsides

Old Ironsides sails the open sea again,
As the Blue Angels fly over the vessel,
And Commander Michael Beck poses on its deck,
The USS Constitution, The tallest of the tall ships any where,
Sail off the coast of Marblehead,
On its 200th birthday,
We can just hear The Eighteen Twelve Overture,
From the shore of Marblehead, It was a beautiful sight to see,
I had tears coming down my face,
As the great two hundred and three-foot-long ship,
Sailed out of view, the twenty-first,
Of July Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Seven.
