Since you left there has been a huge hole in my heart
I feel like I could never have a brand new start
You were such a big part of my every move
Now I don’t have anything, nothing to prove

Why oh why did you have to leave me behind
When you left, I felt so lonely and blind
Now my hopes and dreams they mean nothing to me
But I realize now you’re the best, now I can see

All I ask for this very second is to be with you up there
As I lay in my bed and solemnly stare
I can see you in the air looking down at us
And I know I am making a really big fuss

But you all must see what my heart and mind is telling
I want to shout, I want to scream I want to start yelling
I can’t let you go I just can stop for one single day
All I want to do is go out and play

But without you it is very hard to have happiness and joy
I am truly not trying to annoy
You have to believe me I am telling the no lie
Please don’t ever say that terrible word goodbye

I have heard that more than just one time
Now all I want to hear is one more chime
I am trying to stop this terrible pain
But it just makes me go even more insane

Now my nights have been short and days longer
But every one around me is telling me to get stronger
I am trying so hard to not let you go
But all I want is to hear you peaceful voice say hello
