but most of all of compasion

the rain was heavy the sky was dark
yet as i stared into your eyes i
was enchanted, as the skys thundered
your eyes lit up with a blue so

in the middle of the night i wake
to a cry in the middle of the night
wake to the face of love of inicents
of life with a kiss and a hug you

you said you'd never hurt me
that you were always there
to be my shoulder to cry on
but as i sit with a tear in my eyes

i've been pined all my life held
back by fear of failure or
maybe of success but now i spread my wings
