The Best Poem Of Sandy Adina

The Light

The flame that once had burned so brightly
Now has faded away
But on the other side the fire still kindles
Waiting for a spark to make the light stay
Confusion is present where it once burned
As the thought of a new flame sets sail
But the fire once there had scalded her greatly
And the pain of the burn must prevail
But still she goes forth, through a dark unkonwn place
And stares around at her new land
Then realizes she is alone in the dark
Until somebody offers a hand
Not knowing why, or where it has come from
She reaches out to the unknown
She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath
And trusts it to lead her to her new throne
When she opnes her eyes she is filled with amazement
Of the beautiful colorful sight
Realizng her life is already complete
And capable of providing its own light
The hand she had held was that of her subconscious
Which had known where to go all along
And perhaps the lost flame leaving nothing but dark
Was just what she needed to help find her song
As she began to sing the truth became clear
She had power over her own day and night
And hoped the other side would soon find his own self
And realize everyone can produce their own light
