It was just another April Tuesday
Nearing the end of the school year.
Kids laughing in the most innocent way,
The dreaded end of lunch drawing near.
The roar of the room was stifled
When two trench-coated shooters hustled in.
They yelled and fired their rifles
Consumed by some dark demon within.
On a glorious spring day,
Basking in rays of the Colorado sun,
The fate of a high school was changed
By two boys with four guns.
