A Rose

A ROSE

A rose is as beautiful as the day.
It shines in the night like a great red sun.
It encaptures me as I gaze upon it.
It's sweet smell holds me so i cannot run.
But it's beauty does not encapture me,
Not as much as you.
Your beauty is as unsurpassed.
As this I know to be true.
There is no rose that i can give,
That is even a half as beautiful as you.
So instead i give you more,
More than one it seems.
To show you what you mean to me
And to hold me to this vow
I will forever and all be true to you
My rose is what your are to me
My light, my life, my day!
