I didn't expect you to notice me
Even years ago
You always seemed so far away
I didn't even know

I wasn't looking for anyone
I've been hurt to many times
Keeping my guard up was easy
I was tired of all the lines

I tend to care a little to much
It's always been my flaw
Each day you got closer
All my walls begin to fall

You're different then the others
Like a breath of fresh air
Funny, real, and amazing
I'm scared to let myself care

I can't trust my own feelings
It's why I've always hid
I didn't expect you to notice me
Yet, all this time you did
