Love That Never Fades

Alone on my bed as I lay
The full moon, the galaxies,
Invite my sight, my vision.
Mesmerized! with deep attention
I travel into that realm with sensation,
I'm yet to know its definition!

As I delve into this kingdom further
Voice of beloved vibrates in my ear.
Tik toking of the clock I don't hear
The moving stars I don't bother
The end of this fascination Is my fear
It's a feeling I cling unto, one rare.

The sun rays piercing the glassy window
Is the next event am conscious of!
In the heavens I've dwelt timelessly
Here I'm to live eternally, I suppose
Was the last thought, which I didn't oppose!
This melodious morning is murdering me
Not to mention its confronting realism
That I've been in a dream and now
It's the end point of my idealism.

Ooh, should the sage scream imprecation
To the compulsion of loving or
To the love that never fades
Ooh, I don't wish for the latter
For I imbibe from a Love that never fades.
