In the maze of your eyes
And desire to return home intensifies
Bangles broken at the door sill

Sailors and tourists
Eye the coastline differently,
As do they inhale sea-wind.
Birth of each poem

Playing hide and seek with my poems,
I keep my eyes closed shut and
Finish the faithful count of hundred
Lest the retreating shadow

A few of my lady colleagues
Were asked once to draw
Pictures of objects that define themselves
Most of them drew a tree,
